So, for me once the program started, I jumped at it with both hands. 

Of course, it wasn’t a good time for me to start such a programme as I was getting married, having a mini-break, moving out of apartment during the 8 weeks. As they say perfection is the enemy of the good. If I have waited for the perfect time, I would never have started.

I had a lot of the basics from both exercise and diets point of view but where I was lacking was the motivation and drive to lose the weight. 

In my past I have completed ironman distance triathlons and even during the start of the pandemic, I had exercised up to 6 times a week, but as the novelty of the pandemic continued, so too did my enthusiasm. I always continued with other bootcamps, but that was the sum total of my exercise.

From a food perspective I did have basic good habits on a Sunday preparing healthy lunches for the week, as well as diet rich in fruit and vegetables. However, I had lost control of portion sizes and enjoyed regular snaking mostly of ice-creams and biscuits.

Over the course of the program with the guidance of Coach Esvaran and continued support of the other program members I got both my diet and exercise programme in order. The plan we put in place was customised towards what suited me best. I have a range of dumbbells at home, so we incorporated two sessions a week into my workouts.

My workout evolved overtime to about 6 workouts a week programmed by the coach, 2 bodyweight exercise bootcamps, 2 home weight sessions with dumbbells, and 2 easy runs with some chest/abs exercises at the end.

My food plan was essentially focused on portion control, eating nutritionally dense foods, and removing all snacking and alcohol to an absolute minimum.

My progress was a bit varied for the first few weeks. It’s kind of hard to diet on your wedding day :), But once I got into a rhythm for both exercise and diet, I could see consistent progress on weekly basis. It was visible from the weekly photos, measurements and weight that I need to take and submit to the coach. And of course, weekly analysis from the coach kept me on track, continuously pushing me just the right amount.

Christie's Success Story-Lost all Pregnancy Weight

I was finding it hard to lose my post pregnancy weight 8 months after giving birth. To add to that, I’m still breastfeeding my 8-month old baby. I started slowly incorporating workouts 3-months post-partum, but weight loss was stagnant.

So, when Coach Esvaran launched his internal 8 week body transformation program, I quickly snapped up the chance to join in. I’ve been a bootcamper since 2014, and Coach Esvaran always advocates being healthy and staying fit is a lifestyle. He does not give un-realizable goals but one manageable step at a time. So, I know I would be able to boost my weight loss through his program.

The program was easy to follow. Coach starts out with an introduction, what-to-expect, equipping us with the knowledge on nutrition as it is key to a complete transformation. Consistency was key and we were to report weekly progress.

During this session, we also got to know each other as a group. You have the benefit of losing weight together, motivating each other and knowing you’re not alone in the fight to lose weight. I live out of the country currently and I attended all the exercise sessions and discussions via live zoom sessions and it is as good as being there in person.

On weeks where there were no changes, Coach assured me to trust the process and not get discouraged.  He introduced different components to tackle after my weekly updates. His guidance was very personalized to me and my progress as well as my current lifestyle. There were ups and downs in this weight loss journey but I felt motivated throughout the program.

At the end of the journey, I have lost a total of 3.4kg, a total of 12.5cm (5 inches) of my waist, hips and chest! And I’m proud to say that I’ve shed all my pre-pregnancy weight.

CosmicFit has been in operation since 2012 and over the course has helped hundreds of individuals to achieve their goals using our program. And one more thing, if you can’t make it to our classes, the program is available completely online too. And when we say online, it is not some pre-recorded instruction videos but rather live online video classes with our coaches.

Depending on your exercise experience, fitness level and goals, you will perform 3-5 exercise sessions per week. With our nutrition coaching, we will guide to eat according to your goals.

The 8 Week Challenge is a concerted weight-loss, fitness and nutrition challenge that enables and helps you to initiate your journey and to achieve a healthier, happier version of you. We help you to overcome your barriers with our structured program.

Many of those who have seen the challenge to its completion have commended the challenge as a great way not only to lose weight, get healthier, develop a strong mindset but also a way to develop sustainable healthy habits by making positive behavioural changes in their lifestyle.

To support you in the 8 Week Challenge experience, we have in-person group classes and live online group classes where the coaches interact with you and guides you by calling you out. We also provide nutritional advise to eat according to your goals.

You will be closely guided and monitored by a coach who will provide all the necessary support you need. You will be accountable to the coach where you report either on daily basis or weekly basis of what you eat and also report on your body measurements on weekly basis.

You will connect with like-minded individuals taking on the same challenge and will be highly engaged on a private social media and/or messaging platform. The challenge has provided a truly positive transformative experience for all the participants.

We will be honest with you. The outcome that people get differs from one person to the other because everyone’s experience, motivation level, determination, discipline and the willingness to make small sacrifices here and there is different.

Majority who joins this challenge wants to lose weight, learn about healthy food choices, exercise under a watchful eye of a coach who motivates them and learn the right and structured way of exercising. A smaller percentage joins this program not with a primary intention of losing weight but to simply help them kick-start a healthier lifestyle and maintain that positive changes which brings strength to their body and mind. But you know what, along the way, when they see the changes in their body composition, they get highly motivated and by the end of the program, they shed some unnecessary weight from their body.

You are in the driver’s seat. In this challenge, it is not what we do TO you but it’s what we do FOR you. Based on your goals, we will support, guide and motivate you to see the progress. Here, we focus and celebrate progress, not perfection. We need to build long lasting healthy habits that continuously progresses and eventually one that can be maintained according to your unique lifestyle.

Absolutely you can! Our exercise programs are structured in a way that provides modifications or regressions to absolute beginners. We pay lots of attention with our clients in exercising safely and progressing them effectively. As we said, the exercise programs are not some pre-recorded instructions or classes. You will be exercising under the watchful eyes of our coaches either as in in-person class or live stream online classes from the comfort of your home. You can interact with the coaches to ask any questions if you have difficulties and you will get immediate guidance and response from the coaches.

Signing up for the challenge will give you access to classes conducted by the coaches. The classes are conducted where you can choose to attend physically, you can choose to attend the live online classes, or both depending on what fits your schedule. You will be doing Strength, Movement and HIIT type workouts in our classes.

If you have access to gym or any fitness equipment, we will provide you a structured guided exercise program based on the equipment you have access to.

However, based on your goal, your coach will guide you as to the types and number of workouts you should perform every week.

You can be a vegetarian, non-vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, we can guide you accordingly. The nutritional advise that we provide is based on your dietary requirements or one that you prefer to be on.
